    My wife has been riding horses pretty much her whole life, and she pretty much flips out in rage over this movie way worse than you guys did. There is a mountain of logistics in cross-country horse transport. You have to stop every 3-4 hours to let the horse walk around and poo/pee, and you need a place to stable the horse every night. And that's with a healthy horse.

    Another note: it's not just Anglophone countries that have a mythic view of the American West free of megachurches and Old Country Buffets. Pulp cowboy novels were enormously popular in Weimar Germany, especially by the leather-boot-loving extreme right.
